Hiking And Western Town

This is the perfect time of year to head out on a hike in Arizona. Hackberry Spring Loop Trail is an easy hike for most and you get to explore the ruins of an old ranch on this scenic trail through the western edge of the Superstition Mountains.

Date: Sunday, January 19, 2024

Start: 10am Goldfield Ghost Town. Check out an abandoned old mining town, which has been refurbished as a tourist attraction, including a mine tour, rides and shops. Bring cash or credit card for purchases.

Location: 4650 N Mammoth Mine Rd, Apache Junction AZ 85119

End: 11am and head over to Hackberry Spring Trailhead parking lot. Hackberry Spring Trailhead starts at the First Water Trailhead just past Lost Dutchman State Park on SR88.

End: 1:30 and head back over to the Gold Field Ghost Town for pickup if needed.

Pick up location: 2pm Goldfield Ghost Town 4650 N Mammoth Mine Rd, Apache Junction AZ 85119
