Let’s have fun in the sun cooling off down the Salt River simply by tubing or paddleboarding. This is the best destination to bring your Host Family and new friends to the beautiful Tonto National Forest in Mesa, Arizona. Floating down the Salt River you will see towering saguaro cacti, lush greenery and occasional glimpses of wildlife while chilling on the river. Just relax and enjoy the great outdoors and our American tradition that you don’t want to miss!

How it works:

Cost: $25 Tube Rental (includes Tube and Shuttle)
Float Times: Bottom Half (Points 2-4) 2.5 hours
Location: 9200 N Bush HWY, Mesa AZ 85215
Time: 8am – Check-in for your booking at the building meet “Exchange Student” group on the far right of building Take a bus to the river…Float, relax, and have a blast! Then at the end, a bus will pick you up and take you back to the building. Students need to be picked up by 12pm.

If you plan on attending this event a waterproof phone case is highly recommended.

If you signed up online and are coming, let your LC know. We will meet you at the far right of the building at 8am for check-in. If you need a ride to this event/back to your home, please communicate with your host family or LC.
